When you authorize cleanmyinbox.app with your Google account, we access your Gmail inbox strictly to identify and delete emails based on your selected filters. We do not access or store the contents of your emails unless explicitly required for a selected filter.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your Gmail data is used only to:
- Execute inbox cleanup actions that you initiate
- Generate AI-driven summaries (Pro users only)
- Provide visibility into inbox statistics
We do not send emails on your behalf or access your calendar, contacts, or attachments.
3. Data Storage and Security
We store only the minimal data necessary to support your account:
For Free Users:
We store your email address and track your cleanup usage. No email content is stored.
For Pro Users:
We store your email address, subscription status, and basic usage activity (e.g. number of cleanups, last run date). If you use AI summary features, the generated summaries may be stored for your reference.
All data is encrypted and securely stored. We do not share your data with third parties.
4. Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card or billing information. We only receive and store your email and plan status to manage Pro access.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your Gmail data or personal information with third parties. Your email activity is never used for advertising or analytics beyond your account.
6. User Control and Revocation
You may revoke our access to your Gmail account at any time by visiting your Google Account permissions. You may also contact us to delete any stored data associated with your account.
